Commitment to Sustainability

This initiative will aid Walkers Chocolates in achieving its sustainability objectives by minimizing plastic usage. The new packaging utilizes a fibre-based solution that maintains product quality while offering the same functional benefits as traditional plastic packaging.

The rollout of this recyclable paper packaging includes products supplied to major retailers and international clients, as well as various branded chocolates available in both UK and international stores.

Noteworthy Paper Quality

UPM Solide Lucent is a robust, versatile paper recognized for its distinctive appearance, smooth surface, and high density, which makes it ideal for printing and processing.

A Revolutionary Solution

This new packaging is fully recyclable within current fibre recycling systems, thereby supporting the circular economy.

We’re extremely happy with how the paper extrudes and the print quality in flexo is exceptional. We are 100% happy in UPM Solide Lucent as the grade of choice for our future sustainable packaging development.
