Uzbekistan set to launch Central Asia’s first waste-to-biofuel plant

Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, recently held a meeting with Elham Pourtangestani, CEO of Envirol, to discuss the establishment of Central Asia's first waste-to-biofuel plant, set to be located in Uzbekistan.

Founded in 2006 in the vibrant city of Dubai, Envirol operates as a strategic joint venture with the Government of Dubai, specializing in advanced recycling processes for used oil. The company has an impressive capacity, exceeding 500,000 liters per day, and functions as a key subsidiary within the Alserkal Group portfolio.
