Turkmenhimiya announces international tender for iodine and bromine production plant

Turkmenistan has plans to establish a facility for the production of iodine, bromine, and bromine derivatives, which will involve the reconstruction of the raw material base at the West Cheleken deposit (Hazar site) of the “Balkanabat” iodine plant.

In light of this, the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya” has announced an international tender for the design and construction of this plant, as reported by the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan.”

Tender Participation Requirements

To participate in the tender, interested parties must submit the following to the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" at the address: Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Archabil avenue, 132:

  • A written application for tender participation, including:
    • Full name of the participant
    • Legal status
    • Country of registration
    • Contact details
  • Payment of 1,725 (one thousand seven hundred twenty-five) US dollars, including VAT, or the equivalent amount in manats at the Central Bank of Turkmenistan's exchange rate (for residents of Turkmenistan), to receive the tender document package.

Tender proposals will only be accepted after confirming payment for participation.

Submission Deadline

The deadline for submitting tender proposals is 30 (thirty) working days from the date of the announcement's publication in the newspaper.
