The two companies are collaborating on a significant project to construct a hydrogen production unit at the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant. This unit, with a capacity of 12,500 cubic meters per hour, aims to enhance the production of light oil products and create winter diesel fuel. The initiative is being carried out through LLP Air Liquide Munay Tech Gases, a joint venture between KMG and Air Liquide.
As a global leader in the production and management of technical gases, Air Liquide provides cutting-edge solutions to optimize operations at the Atyrau Oil Refinery and Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, focusing on improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.
According to Askhat Khassenov, KMG is eager to collaborate with Air Liquide on mutually beneficial terms to ensure consistent supplies of technical gases, thereby boosting diesel fuel production.
At the conclusion of their meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a long-term partnership and accelerating the construction of the new unit at Pavlodar.
Founded in 1902 in France, Air Liquide has established itself as a global leader in the technical gases industry.
LLP Air Liquide Munay Tech Gases, a joint venture formed in 2016 between Air Liquide and KMG, is owned 75% by Air Liquide and 25% by KMG.
