What is a Pontoon?

A pontoon is a floating device placed inside a tank beneath its fixed roof, isolating the oil surface from the gas space to prevent evaporation.

From 2025 to 2030, KazTransOil aims to further reduce emissions by an additional 15%. This goal will be achieved through the ongoing implementation of eco-friendly technologies and initiatives designed to enhance energy efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

These efforts are focused on reducing oil evaporation, preventing air pollution, and improving overall environmental safety at the company’s production facilities.

KazTransOil also maintains a rigorous system of environmental monitoring at its facilities, providing data to independent laboratories and authorized bodies, ensuring compliance with all environmental standards and regulations.
