These procedures are carried out in accordance with Kazakhstan’s industrial safety regulations and the approved plan from the Ministry of Energy.

The maintenance includes technical inspections of more than 110 pressure-operated equipment units and over 930 process pipelines, totaling 141,843 meters in length. Approximately 1,100 personnel and 107 specialized equipment units are involved in the process.

Even during the maintenance, shipments of petroleum products will proceed as planned. Current stock levels before the shutdown include 35,000 tons of motor gasoline, 45,000 tons of diesel fuel, and 14,000 tons of aviation fuel.

To maintain market stability and fulfill the needs of essential sectors, other KMG refineries are concurrently ramping up production of specific fuels and lubricants.
