The official inauguration took place on March 25 at a reception hosted by U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick in Tashkent. The event welcomed high-profile attendees, including Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov.

Ambassador Henick reaffirmed U.S. support for American businesses in Uzbekistan, emphasizing Honeywell’s role in driving innovation and technological advancement across the nation’s key industries.

With a strong presence in oil and gas, petrochemicals, mining, and metallurgy, Honeywell is committed to advancing Uzbekistan’s energy and digital strategies. The company has collaborated with both government and private sector partners. Together, they implement cutting-edge automation solutions.

As part of its growth strategy, Honeywell will establish a Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Tashkent. This center will serve as a regional hub for advanced engineering. It will also foster local talent development.
