First company dedicated to the production of polymer packaging opens doors in Tajikistan

The first company with the goal of producing rigid polymer packaging for food products opened its doors in Tajikistan. The Muosir-Plast plant is located in the Sugh Region

As part of its first stage, the company launched three production lines. It plans to produce 50 types of containers for confectionery, fruits and dried fruits, dairy products, and drinks. The new plant will produce from 20 to 60 million units of products per year, the press service of the President of the Republic, Emomali Rahmon, reported.

Until now, all plastic packaging in Tajikistan was imported from abroad. Imports of rigid polymer packaging into the country are estimated to have cost $175 million per year.
