In a Heads of Agreement (HOA), a subsidiary of the Chinese hydrogen solutions provider has established a joint venture with ISHSB, a Malaysian company formed through a collaboration between ICE Petroleum and SEDC Energy.

Both companies will work together to manage and maintain HRS and hydrogen storage solutions for the Rembus depot of the Automated Transit System, which is the initial phase of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project in Malaysia.

This new venture will help us to further penetrate the Malaysian hydrogen market by working with a trusted local partner like ISHSB

The joint venture aims to meet the demand for HRS and hydrogen storage in the Malaysian market, as stated by Abdul Jalil Maraicar, Group Managing Director of ICE Petroleum, on behalf of ISHSB.

Earlier this year, Hydrexia supplied containerized mobile HRS units to UMW Toyota, the Malaysian subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation.
