The "DRIVE-E" project will address critical gaps in the existing EVC network, with a particular focus on facilitating the electrification of both passenger and freight transport. Notably, 430 of the new charging points will be high-power chargers, each with a capacity of 350 kW or more, specifically designed to meet the demands of heavy-duty electric trucks.
The new charging stations will be strategically located at over 250 sites across Germany, Austria, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Slovakia.
This extensive network will provide crucial support for the growing number of electric vehicles on European roads, enabling seamless cross-border travel and promoting sustainable transportation.
Project Overview:
The DRIVE-E project will play a vital role in supporting the EU's Green Deal objectives and accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles across Europe.
