According to The Korea Herald, this facility, situated 450 kilometers east of Ashgabat, will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 tons of phosphate fertilizers and 100,000 tons of ammonium sulfate.

This initiative aligns with Daewoo E&C's strategy to bolster its presence in Central Asia. The company aims to grow its footprint in the region, not only within the petrochemical industry but also through infrastructure projects and the establishment of new cities.

A significant milestone in fostering cooperation occurred last October with the inauguration of a Daewoo E&C branch in Ashgabat. The opening ceremony was graced by high-ranking officials from both nations, including the company’s chairman, Jeong Won-ju, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, Baymyrat Annamammedov.
