To ensure process efficiency and timely completion, the project has been divided into two startup complexes.
Progress on the First Startup Complex: Equipment for the main step-down substation has already been delivered to the construction site, while the 25 MVA power transformers are currently in transit to Kazakhstan.
Progress on the Second Startup Complex: General construction works continue across seven key facilities, including the fire station, laboratory, warehouse, administrative and amenity complex, control room, fire water tanks, and the chemical reagent storage facility.
Work has also commenced on the assembly of modules for the pre-cooling and mercury removal units. Additionally, the manufacturing of the Siemens gas turbine engine, as well as components for the spherical and vertical steel tanks, has been completed. Logistics planning for the delivery of these items is currently underway.
Furthermore, the manufacturing of 22 units of technological equipment—including the propane refrigeration compressor, heat exchangers, vessels, filters, and other components—is now complete.
At present, the project is proceeding in full accordance with the approved schedule.
The construction of the new GPP is being carried out under the direct instruction of the Head of State. The project aims to create a modern industrial complex with a processing capacity of up to 900 million cubic meters of natural and associated gas per year.
