This prestigious award, presented on July 12th, commends Coca-Cola India's eco-friendly packaging advancements, particularly the introduction of 100% recycled PET bottles, a pioneering move in India's beverage industry. This initiative aligns with Coca-Cola India's World Without Waste campaign, which aims to establish a circular economy for plastic packaging.

During the event held at the Indian Habitat Centre in Delhi, distinguished speakers included Rupinder Brar, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Coal; Roopa Mishra, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA); Dinesh Jagdale, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE); and Michael Bucki, Counsellor & Head of Section – Sustainable Modernization, Delegation of the European Union.

We are honored to receive this award. Our commitment to driving a circular economy for our packaging is central to reducing waste and carbon emissions. We are focused on increasing the recycled content in our packaging, expanding the use of refillable bottles, and enhancing our recycling efforts through the World Without Waste initiative. This recognition strengthens our resolve to build a more sustainable future for the beverage industry.

Coca-Cola India stands out as the first company in India to introduce 1-liter Kinley bottles crafted from 100% recycled PET (rPET), followed by rPET Coca-Cola bottles in 250 ml and 750 ml, highlighting its dedication to reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental stewardship.
