An initial investment of $1 million from TCCF will fund solutions and service delivery models designed to reduce packaging waste.

This project aims to improve waste recovery efforts across the Eurasian and Middle Eastern regions.

The first phase of PACT is set to launch in 2025, targeting five countries: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

The program is dedicated to empowering waste workers and supporting emerging waste enterprises.

The Global Environment & Technology Foundation (GETF) is proud to partner with The Coca-Cola Foundation to help address critical waste management challenges in Eurasia and the Middle East. The PACT Fund aims to support innovation, improve waste recovery and accelerate the transition toward a circular economy regionally, building scalable solutions for long-term environmental resilience.

Monica Ellis, CEO, FETF

Grants ranging from $100,000 to $400,000 will be awarded to selected NGOs, social enterprises, and startups.

This initiative is managed by GETF and is co-funded by TCCF.

We’re excited to launch PACT with our partners to drive circular innovation and improve waste recovery in Eurasia and the Middle East. Our goal is to create robust value chains, support informal waste workers, and drive innovations in waste management, ultimately paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Carlos Pagoaga, President, TCCF

According to an Oceana report, if current practices continue, Coca-Cola's plastic consumption is projected to exceed 9.1 billion pounds annually by 2030.
