Chinese company invests $160 million to upgrade Junda oil refinery in Kyrgyzstan

An investment agreement has been finalized for the renovation and modernization of the China Petrol LLC oil refinery owned by the Junda company, as reported by the National Investment Agency (NIA) under the President of Kyrgyzstan.

Today, the NIA Director, Talantbek Imanov, and the Chairman of the Board of Central Asian Energy Company LLC, Huang Qiang, signed the agreement, with a total investment exceeding 160 million US dollars.

This agreement focuses on executing a project to revamp and update an oil refinery for the manufacturing of gasoline, diesel fuel, and liquefied gas in the Chui region. The project's implementation is expected to enhance the refinery's technical condition significantly, boosting its productivity and efficiency.

The establishment of the Chinese Oil Company Junda LLC currently stands as one of the major investment ventures in Kyrgyzstan.
