The annual capacity of the oil refining plant has been enhanced from 1 million tons to 1.5 million tons.

Bitumen production capacity has surged from 500 thousand tons to 750 thousand tons.

One of the most crucial and technically demanding aspects of the project was the installation of a 140-ton vacuum column, standing nearly 40 meters tall.

The upgraded plant is now equipped to consistently supply the market with high-quality domestic bitumen, adequately meet local demand, and reduce reliance on imports.

This modernization project for the Aktau Bitumen Plant was executed under the directive of the country's President, with CITIC Construction serving as the general contractor.
