Braskem, recognized as the largest polyolefins producer in the Americas and a global leader in biopolymers on an industrial scale, alongside Fitesa, one of the world's foremost nonwoven manufacturers and the first to produce Spunbond nonwovens with I'm green bio-based polyethylene, are thrilled to unveil the application of Braskem's I'm green bio-based high-density polyethylene (HDPE) specifically designed for nonwoven applications.

This next-generation material, optimized for Spunbond processes, incorporates all the renowned benefits of I'm green, such as its bio-based feedstock and negative carbon footprint. This groundbreaking material offers superior process performance and enhanced spinning stability, facilitating increased bio-based content in products across the global hygiene supply chain.

Fitesa will feature products utilizing Braskem's I'm green bio-based HDPE at booth 901 during IDEA25, a premier event for the nonwovens industry. IDEA 2025 will be held in Miami, FL, from April 29 to May 1.
