A Milestone in Sustainable Production

This facility marks Uzbekistan's first international-standard liquid CO2 production site, utilizing raw CO2 captured from the ammonia production line at Navoiazot. It refines the CO2 to an impressive purity level of 99.99%, significantly reducing harmful emissions released into the atmosphere. The new facility is expected to lower greenhouse gas emissions, avoiding nearly one million tonnes over its operational lifespan.

Capacity and Reliability

With a daily production capacity of 120 tonnes, this facility stands as the largest and most sustainable source of food-grade LC02 in the nation. It effectively addresses supply disruptions during peak seasons, ensuring a reliable and consistent CO2 source.

The CO2 produced at the Air Products plant will replace the CO2 that has traditionally been sourced from natural gas combustion in Uzbekistan. The Navoi facility exemplifies world-class standards in safety, energy efficiency, and quality control.
